Are you building a tree house? Obviously you'll claim it's for the boys, but it would be a convenient look-out post if one were engaged in, say, assassinations....
The tree-house Every year there'd be a civil war: The children claimed the tree-house, But the snakes were there before (though they only claimed the floor).
Greg - Max and one of his friends are slowly converting the walnut tree in our front yard into a tree house. I'll wait to take it over once they've installed some amenities...
I like the rhythm and flow of this poem. I do not care for the snakes of this poem. We'll call it a tie and move on :P
