The exercise: Write a four line poem about: discovery. Mine: A local family found the stuck robot But were unsure what to do, So they brought it home in their red wheelbarrow And inspected it for clues
Ah, so will Buddy murder his rescuers in order to resume his mission? That's a nice way of increasing the body-count :) I like the little details you keep sneaking in, like the colour of the wheelbarrow -- they add to the scenesetting very nicely.
Either next week or the week after I'll post all the verse of Part II together so you can read them without the week-long breaks in the middle of sentences :)
Discovery Is like a dancer, leaping from the masts. The Sailor shouts instructions to the bu- sy crew, and from the Crow’s Nest comes a cry: now land heaves into view. The map denies
Greg - that is indeed the question. I haven't decided on the answer yet, but I imagine I'll have to set aside some time tomorrow to write the next entry.
I like 'The map denies' as an ending to this part, it leaves me eager to see the next entry.
And yes, I think I'll have to post what I've got so far in one post soon, before doing so would require an hour of scrolling to get to the bottom...
