The exercise:

Write two haiku about: the cave dweller.

The bard, the low road and the cave dweller. Are you leading up to telling us a fairy story, by any chance? A tale of the brave prince Heir Miles and his faithful skunk companion who journey from the Lonely Castle via the Deer Gate along the low road, where danger lurks, to visit the Bard (and legendary body poet) Marco Kwan. Along the way they encounter a cave dweller, and whatever prompts occur for the rest of the week? Marco is sad because he's lost his favourite stringed instrument (and his Macbook Pro but there is a series of comic misunderstandings between Marco, Miles and the skunk over 'apple') and so Miles sets off to find it and cheer the Bard up.

OK, haiku. No killing people today.

The cave dweller
This hermit has a
Cave and landmines. Grant him his
Privacy. Go away.

Heir Miles ain't deterred.
His faithful skunk sneaks inside
And comes back with Lute.
