The exercise:

Write two haiku about: stress.

No, I'm not at all concerned about the election results south of the border. Why do you ask?

Well, the election results are honestly better at this point than I was expecting: Trump and Biden are roughly equal. That a victory for Trump will probably remove America from international politics for the next ten years, maybe a little longer, is sad but maybe the impetus it will give to Europe and Asia will be a good thing. We shall see, I suppose. But I will have to reduce my news intake. I've had quite enough of hearing what the orange idiot does.

Stress
Stress hormones flood my
Torso and my bench-press fails....
Raise lighter weight next.

Every cloud has a
Silver lining. Snow and hail
Stress my poor garden.

Greg - I think most of the world has had quite more than enough of President Dunce.

And, thankfully, it looks like we shall all get a reprieve, come late January. Until then... well, a poor loser doesn't seem much better to watch than a poor winner has been for the last four years.

Always appreciate an acrostic worked into the two haiku. I think I like these equally this week.
