I don't think our narrator in this poem has much in the way of horizons at the moment -- even his future is rather in doubt....

Horizons
The clouds descend and fog arises
My horizons narrow to bare across the deck
I hear Leviathan off to the starboard side
And wonder how long before the ship must wreck?
