The exercise:

Write two haiku about: clarity.

So much weeding got done today. It was great. And if the weather doesn't rain us out even more will get done tomorrow!

I could get used to this.

In hockey news, Montreal won game five this evening, which kept their playoff run alive. They're still down three games to two in the series, but hopefully they're able to gain some momentum from this victory and string two more wins together in order to make it to the finals.

I can see clearly
now, the pain is gone; I let
the booze choose what's next.

*     *     *

Clear as mud, they say.
Math is dumb, History lame.
I will make them see.

Your intern is impressing you then? That's good! Here's hoping that the rain holds off for you then :) And hoping that the rain stays away from Montreal's chances as well.
I think I like your first haiku better today, but only because the booze is telling me so ;-)

Also, I think you might like this: http://anagramatron.tumblr.com/
each pair of tweets is an anagram of each other. It also occurred to me that when you are looking for prompt inspiration picking an anagram-pair of tweets might provide the occasional idea :)

My ESP has
cataracts: my future's clear,
except in patches.

Transparent as glass,
stain'd by original sin
and valued like gold....

Greg - yeah, she's been great so far, I've really appreciated having her around.

That website is... fascinating. I think you're right, prompts await me there.

Heh, the smile your first haiku brought me makes it my fav this week :D
