I think only adults ever think things are worth the wait; kids never do :) I'm also thinking that after your comment on last Saturday's post, you're keen to find out what the machetes were for. That will probably need more than 4 lines though....

Worth the wait
The Headmaster tried not to jump and look guilty every time somewhere knocked on his office door, but it was a losing battle. Emma came in and sat down and looked at him.
"It wasn't worth the wait," he said, his voice tired and strained at the same time. "The school district's increase to our budget amounts to enough to plant a tree to commemorate the increase."

Greg - so true. Waiting is merely a form of torture to them.

Hahah, that's horrible. And utterly plausible, sadly.
