Does this mean you’re bored now, and waiting for the Christmas season to be over? Or that you’ve completed your latest assassination and are now waiting for your chance to leave the country undetected?

Idle hands
MacArthur sighed and closed the door to the storeroom. He wasn’t entirely sure what he’d been expecting — dead bodies, maybe, or perhaps film footage of the last orgy known to have happened at the Pig and Trotter tavern, bordello and butcher’s. Not well over two hundred stone, bronze, wood, jade, ivory and steel hands.
“Idol hands,” he said to D.S Playfair as the policeman started to open the door to see for himself, “I hear they do the devil’s work.”

Greg - feeling a little lost in the limbo of post Christmas, pre things getting back to normal. Starting to come out of it a bit now, thankfully.

Hah, nice take on the prompt. Though I am left suspecting that these hands will somehow actually do the devil's work yet...
