Jargon
Team Titanic were Mary and Penelope who were both retired schoolteachers, liked wearing tweed jackets with leather elbow-patches, but otherwise contrasted. As Mary set down ARGON as her opening word, the slight smirk on her lips indicating that she was hoping that no-one else knew it was a noble gas, Maureen thought that she would have made an excellent dance teacher instead of a science teacher. Across the board, Penelope (who looked like she'd played rugby for twenty years but in fact used to teach pottery) shuffled her rack expectantly.
"JOKERS" said Maureen, turning ARGON into JARGON and watching Penelope start shuffling her rack again in annoyance.

Greg - really enjoyed your descriptions of Team Titanic. And I am pleased to see that my choice of prompt fit nicely into the continuation of this epic tale of board gaming.
