The exercise:

Write a four line poem about: exploring new territory.

Took the boys for a hike this afternoon while Kat had a rest. Managed to find an interesting new spot to explore and they're excited to take her there with us tomorrow.

The new spot to explore sounds rather good! And a nice way to spend some family time together :)
I might be off to Kyiv in a week or so, and although it would only be for a few days Malta's genuinely stupid belief that you need to quarantine for 14 days on return from there (it's handling COVID better than Malta, just to pick one country as an example) and my refusal to pay for a "quarantine hotel" here when we all know it's a corrupt scam, means that I'll probably end up back in the UK for a week and then visiting my friend in Spain (or us both going to Italy) the week after to avoid unnecessary quarantine. But it means that a three-day work trip turns into a three-week jaunt because the Maltese are too lazy to do their jobs properly :(

Exploring new territory
Stacked in the parking lot, fearing the rain,
My books contains maps that I’ve longed to explore.
Then taking my books and stealing a plane,
Is logical; that’s just what they’re for!

Greg - well, I mean, at least there's a better option than paying for the quarantine hotel? Certainly more enjoyable!

Hah, continuing to enjoy your rogue librarian poem :)
