The exercise:

Write four lines of prose about: my last night in Paris.

Vaguely inspired by my parents' last night in Penticton, I suppose. They're heading home tomorrow morning. They'll be missed for sure, but we're making plans to see them this summer on the island.

Ah, you are losing the child-care help you've had all week! Are part of the negotiations from your parents' side that you all come, they see the kids, but you do all the child-care? ;-) Although I suspect they enjoy spoiling the children and telling them tales about what you got up to when you were their age....

Last night in Paris
"Foul Winds Finnegan reminds me of Paris," said Ben, lighting up a cigar from a convenient storm lantern.
"Paris, Texas where we gatecrashed that country-music and bluegrass concert, you wooed at least three different girls thinking they were the same one and we rode out in a hurry on two of the blue-ribbon heifers from the Beautiful Bovine competition? Or Paris, France where you picked up your cigar-habit, two STDs, at least eighteen prostitutes, several knick-knacks we didn't pay for and that luggage with all the fancy lingerie in it?"
Ben noted that Red seemed to be admiring the ceiling with undue innocence and snorted his reply, "Paris, Ontario where we got trapped in the sewers for four days with that alligator wearing a sun-hat and most of a strapless dress."

Greg - I mean, I can't see anything in particular here that would make the system consider it spam, but there are a lot of things that, when added together, I could see causing it... :)

Anyway, apologies, once again. It should really be used to your writing by this point :P

Happy to see Ben and Red making another appearance so soon! Always a pleasure to have a visit from them.
