The exercise:
Write two haiku about: concentration.
Another box day in the books. We had our first sighting of ripe cherry tomatoes in the garden, so I'm hoping there will be enough coming ready this week to include them next time.
Back to weeding tomorrow.
Mine:
I try to focus
on the task at hand, but then...
Oh! Something shiny!
* * *
Drifting lazily
across cloudless skies, yet still
not easy to catch

Exciting sighting of the tomatoes! I bet they'll go down well with your customers!
I think I like your first haiku better today because... been there done that :)
Concentration
It's just a card game
But the turn of every card
Fills me with pure rage
---------
He chews at his thumb
Intent on finding the way
To leave his prison.
Concentration
Stop clicking your pen.
I’ve lost my concentration.
One ceiling tile… two…
Cat crouches, alert.
Tail twitches; throaty warbles.
Feathers everywhere!
Greg - hah, can relate to your first. Also love the image of your second one.
Aholiab - hahaha, love the combination of the two OCD behaviors in your first haiku :D
