The exercise: Write a four line poem about: moments. Mine: Buddy stood over its offspring feeling... sad? What did I fail to provide? Though the moment was cut short by the sound of Gunshots coming from inside.
Our eyes connected and magic bloomed. Through the pale blue irises, I saw our lives flowing Towards each other, crashing together, forming new life As the doors closed and she was whisked away into the ether.
@Ivy: there's clearly a lot more tale to be told than four lines permit -- I hope you'll share more with us at some point :)
@Marc: I think, though this isn't exactly climactic, that if the battle is mostly done now we've got just enough room for an epilogue of sorts. I suspect Madame Sosotris and the Shadow need to talk again to round the poem off. And... I can't quite believe that we've done this over a year. That's awesome!
Moments Then moments freeze and spirits howl, the gol- -den sword collects the light and lases it. It burns a hole through steel and circuit and the Sailor drops the sword in shock and shouts.

Then moments freeze and spirits howl, the gol-
-den sword collects the light and lases it.
It burns a hole through steel and circuit and
the Sailor drops the sword in shock and shouts.
Ivy - dang, yo.
That's a hell of a final line, not to mention the lead up to it. Nicely done.
Greg - yes, this has been impressively ridiculous. Or ridiculously impressive. Still not sure which.
We've got seven more entries to go and it seems like we're both somehow on pace to finish properly. Ain't that something.
