The starter for today is: heating up.
Mine:
The fire is burning bright,
It keeps away the cold night;
Flames lick shadows so softly...
Before dying abruptly
The night moves in eagerly,
The fire fights meagerly;
Now the heat is gone away,
And the frost is here to stay
