A gust of wind and then swimming? That sounds like you were visiting a lake and one of the kids got blown away....
Swimming Penelope sighed enough that the people at nearby tables started pulled their cardigans closer around their shoulders and muttering about draughts and finally slapped a D, two Gs and a Y on the board around the "O" to produce DOGGY. Theresa bit her tongue a few times, drummed her fingers on the table, and (when Maureen had finally decided that she was going to change letters in her hand) finally played YOUTHFUL with a rue smile. Mary quickly set PADDLE down below DOGGY and grinned. "Challenge," said Maureen immediately, "that's hyphenated."
Greg: I love where you went with this prompt. You set the scene very well.
Freestyle was supposed to be elegant with that streamline posture, arms gracefully pulling water back while slender legs propelled the body forward. It was the sport of champions, the sport everyone came together to watch with fascination at least every four years. And then Becky jumped into the water. Her choppy kicks and flailing, slapping arms quickly turned any awe to laughter.

Greg - A gust.. August... eh, I liked the joke.
Ah, more Scrabble. And I do believe that challenge will prove to be a good one.
Ivy - I feel like I'd have a lot in common with Becky.
