Buddy thought it might be best to return home
To check in on The Master,
But when it found only blood stains on the floor
It feared Charlie was faster.

I hope you have fun in Vancouver! It seems like Max is probably old enough to enjoy seeing the city now, though Miles is maybe still a little too young? Don't let them drink too much ;-)
Well, while I was worrying for a long time that Buddy was going to turn on the Master, it looks like he's too late! Now, is he going to save the Master, or just cast off his programming and do his own thing?
Misunderstanding

We visited friends and family, did a hike, and took in the aquarium. It was nice to get away for a few days.
When I wrote this, the blood Buddy found was meant to be that of the cops disposed of by its offspring, before The Master left for his hideout in the mountains, just to be clear. I haven't written the next entry yet, so we'll see if it remains that way.
Hah, another cliffhanger. Well, at least I'm caught up enough that I shouldn't have to wait too long for the completion.
