The spy's signal "You're signalling to each other, like spies," said Ellen, her mouth twisting this way and that as she stared at the scrabble board. Her fingers twitched over the letters in her rack and the silence of Maureen and Theresa did nothing to calm her down. Finally she huffed like someone had cut in line in front of her and played CRONIES for a miserable 9. Theresa immediately played CHEATING for 72 and Maureen, smiling despite herself and regretting only that she needed to use a blank tile, played CODEWORD for 80.

So how has John Le Carré come to influence your choice of prompts for the last four days then? :)

Greg - I think I just got on a theme roll and couldn't help myself.
I'm fairly certain I'm not the only person in the world who would enjoy a good Scrabble tale. Not 100% on that, but, you know, pretty sure.
Either way, this continues to be fantastic :)
