The exercise:

The topic for this Saturday's four line poem is: relaxing.

Mine:

With one long breath,
Set your stress free;
With one short sigh,
Stop and just be.

Still in bed
at 11:27 in the morning
relaxing
or just lazy?

Nice little stanza! May I offer as my four line poem on relaxing:

When I relax I only anneal,
Made brittle by what shall pass.
As shiny as brass, as brittle as glass,
From peace to the strength of steel.

My body sinks down on the couch
My mind becomes clearer as the thoughts slow down
All the negative energy searches for an exit
There it is, a long, deep sigh

@Laura Jayne: relaxing. Definitely relaxing. :)

@Greg: heya, thanks for stopping by! I like the rhythm of your poem... and I'm not too proud to admit that I had to look up anneal.

@Bunny: a wonderful expression of the true power of sighs. Thanks for the poem!

Heya Marc,
I've been stopping by for a while, lurking in the undergrowth :) I thought it might be time to admit that I'm here though.
